Site Maintenance System

Schedule maintenance in advance, auto-enable it at the set time, notify all users with a push, and keep the site accessible only to you (the founder) while it's down.

1. Schedule & Auto-Enable

The founder sets an announcement, picks a time, and toggles auto-enable. The site enters maintenance automatically at that time — no manual toggle needed.

Schedule a maintenance announcement

Auto-enable at this time

The site enters maintenance mode automatically.

2. In-App Announcement Popup

Every user (except you) sees this popup when they open the app, announcing the planned maintenance and when it will happen.

3. Push Notification

Users who aren't actively on the app get a native push notification about the scheduled maintenance so no one is caught off guard.

4. Maintenance Page

At the scheduled time (or when manually toggled), everyone except you sees this full-screen maintenance page. The 30-second polling automatically logs out any active users and shows this screen.

How it works

  1. You set a message, time, and toggle auto-enable in Settings
  2. All users see an in-app popup and receive a push notification
  3. At the scheduled time, the site auto-enters maintenance mode
  4. Active users are logged out and see the maintenance page
  5. Only you (the founder) can still access the site during maintenance
  6. When you turn maintenance off, everyone can use the app again
