The rules that help The Mom Hub remain useful, safe, honest, and centered on community.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Mom Hub mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by The Mom Hub ("The Mom Hub," "we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use The Mom Hub. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that all information you provide is accurate.
The Mom Hub is not intended for individuals under 18. We may remove accounts we learn are held by users under 18.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating your account and to update it as needed. You may not use another person's account without their permission.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. You may also deactivate it, which pauses your account for 90 days before it is permanently deleted unless you reactivate it. When an account is deleted, we take reasonable steps to remove your personal information and content, subject to legally required retention.
Phone Number Verification
When you add or change your phone number, we send a one-time verification code via text message (SMS) to that number. You agree to provide a phone number that you own and are authorized to use, and you consent to receive this text message for verification purposes. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. The verification code is single-use and expires after a limited time.

3. Your Content

You are solely responsible for the content you post, including posts, comments, photos, videos, messages, and profile information.
You grant The Mom Hub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, use, display, and distribute your content within the Service for the purpose of operating and providing its features.
You represent that you have the rights to the content you post and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, and we may restrict or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our rules.

4. Community Guidelines

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines and to interact with other members respectfully.
The Mom Hub reserves the right to moderate, remove, or restrict access to content or accounts that we believe violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

5. Mutual Aid and Exchanges

The Mom Hub helps connect members who wish to share or request baby and family essentials.
Any exchange of goods is solely between the members involved. The Mom Hub is not a party to any exchange and is not responsible for the condition, safety, legality, delivery, or accuracy of items shared between members.
You assume all risk associated with any exchange. We encourage you to meet safely, verify items before accepting them, and use care when sharing personal or location information.
The Mom Hub does not guarantee that any item will be available, claimed, or fulfilled.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:
Post content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionableShare another person's personal information without consentOffer unsafe, expired, recalled, or prohibited itemsUse the Service to harass, stalk, bully, or intimidate othersImpersonate another person or misrepresent your identityAttempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the ServiceUse the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Violations may result in content removal, account restriction, or termination.
Zero Tolerance. The Mom Hub has a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. We do not tolerate hate speech, bullying, harassment, threats of violence, sexual content, the exploitation of minors, spam or scams, or any other content that violates our Community Guidelines. We reserve the right to immediately remove such content and restrict or terminate the accounts of users who create or share it, without prior warning. If you encounter objectionable content or abusive behavior, please report it using the Report button or contact our team directly through the Safety Center.

7. Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may use or integrate with third-party services, including Base44 for application infrastructure. We are not responsible for the practices of third parties, and their terms govern their respective services.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content, exchange, or feature will meet your expectations.
The Mom Hub is not responsible for the conduct of any user or for any exchange between users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Mom Hub and its service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold The Mom Hub harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, your conduct, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date when we do.
Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
